Gourmet Getaway in Kastamonu (2 Nights)
Kastamonu is a historic city whose history dates back to the Hittite period. It was once the seat of the Turkmen Emirate of the Isfendiyarids, and was conquered by the Ottomans between 1397 and 1460. It became the capital. Today, it is one of the few cities in Turkey that has retained its character, boasting several wooden houses, monuments, and a citadel, especially a culinary heritage worth exploring.

1. Day: Flight to KASTAMONU
Breakfast. After breakfast, transfer to the airport and flight to Cappadocia. Welcome at Kayseri airport and continue to explore this exceptional region; visit the Göreme Valley, as well as the Byzantine rock churches, stop in the troglodyte villages of Uçhisar and Ortahisar; lunch during the visit. Dinner and overnight stay.
2. Day: KASTAMONU
Breakfast continues the discovery of the city. Visit the Hitite rock tombs and then the Atabeygazi Mosque, which dates back to the 13th century and has a wooden structure. Our culinary stop for lunch is Kırcalar Restaurant where you can taste the famous Kuyu Kebab of Kastamonu, “lamb roasted in a pit oven.” In the afternoon, the İsmailbey Complex, which dates back to the 15th century, and Nasrullah Square with the various old markets, hans, and caravanserais. Dinner is planned in an authentic Kursunlu Han setting. Accommodation in a typical Konak hotel.
3. Day: KASTAMONU / İSTANBUL flight
Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Kastamonu Airport. Assistance with departure formalities and flight to Istanbul to connect with your international flight or continue your stay in Istanbul.
